Equus Live is over for this year. Thank you to everyone who came along to the Punchestown Event Centre and made the event such a huge success. Please keep an eye on our Twitter @equuslive and Facebook pages for pictures and videos from The Gain Alltech Arena and The Irish Horse TV – At The Races Studio.

About Equus Live

The Event Centre in Punchestown Racecourse was transformed into a Horse Lovers Heaven for one weekend on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November 2013. Equus Live featured a spectacular all indoor horse event and a one stop shop for everything Equine

The GAIN Alltech Arena featured celebrity master classes, fantastic demonstrations and action packed displays that wowed visitors and had them glued to their seats. From racehorses to reining, show jumping to vaulting, miniatures puissance to Dressage. Equus Live touched on a variety of Equestrian Disciplines all under one roof.

A Shopping Village boasted a range of fabulous stands allowing visitors a chance to kit out themselves, their horse and their home and some even started a little Christmas shopping!

Visitors also got a chance to meet their favourite equestrian star in the Irish Horse TV – At The Races Studio. The kids were kept entertained in the Equipeople Au Pairs Kiddie Zone and at the HRI kids clubs. Visitors also got the chance to brush up on their interview skills in the YITBA Education and Jobs Zone and to see what was new to the industry in the Enterprise Ireland Innovation Area.

‘Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) views Equus Live as an excellent opportunity to tell the story of Irish racing to a wider equine audience and to encourage new visitors to any one of the 26 racecourses around the country, so they can experience the thrill of racing. Equus Live will give us a chance to meet future racegoers and distribute our free publications such as the ‘Beginners Guide to Horse Racing’, ‘Courses for Horses’ and ‘Racing the Irish Way’.
